Released under Lookout! Records (#17) as a 7" EP. Rotation is 45rpm. The EP was recorded under the name Sweet Children, however they changed their name to Green Day just before it was released. John Kiffmeyer (aka Al Sobrante) is on drums. The vinyl was pressed on various different colors; green, purple, red, blue, clear, and yellow. On the back view, there is a picture of the band. It says "Billy: Guitar, Hat", "Mike: Bass, Hair", and "John: Drums, Bus." Please note that Billie's name is spelled Billy. Click here to view the back. The foot on the cover is Mike's. This EP is extremely rare. If you come across one and you're a big Green Day fan, you better be picking this up. I've seen it sell for up to $100.

This cover only had 600 copies pressed in black vinyl only. A third pressing of the Sweet Children EP was also done, same cover, just red. This EP is extremely rare. If you come across one and you're a big Green Day fan, you better be picking this up. I've seen it sell for up to $100. I was lucky enough to obtain 2, in which I sold one to purchase the first pressing (the foot cover).

All lyrics written by Billie Joe Armstrong, except for My Generation written by Pete Townshend for The Who, Dominated Love Slave, written and sung by Tre Cool, and Sweet Children, by Billie Joe and Mike Dirnt. Drums for tracks 13 - 16 by John Kiffmeyer (aka Al Sobrante).

Released by Reprise Records. Produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day. All lyrics by Billie Joe, except Emenius Sleepus, which was written by Mike. This was Green Day's first major label release. An interesting fact about Dookie is that on the back of the original copies, it showed a crowd holding up a stuffed Ernie doll from Sesame Street. The band had to later reprint Dookie's back minus Ernie because they were threatened with lawsuits. Also some copies of Dookie come with a brown tray for the CD.


* Hidden track at the end of Dookie. To this day, this is the only Green Day album to have a hidden track.

The song DUI, by Tre Cool was supposed to appear on Shenanigans. The track was scratched, and was said to be planned to be released only on the Japanese verison of Shenanigans. The Japanese verison was released, minus DUI. The CD inlay for the regular Shenanigans has D.U.I. on the inside, but it is spray painted out. Produced by Rob Cavallo and Green Day.
