Me, Marie, & The Living End (08.04.06) My Billie Joe Autograph My Mike Autograph My Tre Autograph & Pick  MY LIFE    Well my name is Courtney Smith and I with my best friend in the little town of Lehighton, PA, which is about an hour and half away from Philadelphia, PA. For all you international people who don't know where that is, it's in the United States. I'm 24 years old and I was born on July 25, 1982. Right now, I'm currently working at The Hartford Customer Service Group, which does the phone work for health insurance with AARP. I have my license to sell insurance in 49 states. I also go to school, I'm attending Lehigh Carbon Community College for web design. I also graduated from another college in September 2003, where I got a diploma in web design, but I wanted more. Prior to that, I attended Bloomsburg University in the summer of 2000, and I also graduated high school in Lehighton in 2000. Another side job I have, other than my real job and GDA, is a website I do for a local band by the name of Psycho Bettie. I drive a 2001 Silver Pontiac Sunfire, named Gavin Tre II, and its actually paid off. Yay!   I love tattoos. I have 5 right now, and I'm currently planning the 6th. The ones I have include the American Idiot gernande with wings (shown on the right side of the page) on my left arm, a sillhoutte of Billie Joe playing the guitar on my left ankle (also shown on the right side of the page), and I also have 2 little black and red stars on my right arm/wrist that I got on Telegraph Avenue in Berkeley, CA. And my latest addition is a pink & black open star on the back of my neck.   So I've been doing web design since I got on the Internet in about 1995 or so. I built my first website on Netscape 1 (no Internet Explorer at that time), and it was a site for my favorite actor at the time. Eventually I ended that and went on to make a personal website, which had a Green Day page that became the Green Day Minority. GDM eventually got renamed, and I'll give you one guess to what that name was. That's right, The Green Day Authority.  MUSIC    I love music. Music is my life. My favorite band, of course is Green Day. I've been a Green Day fan since I was 12 and in 6th grade (1994). I just saw the video for Longview on day on MTV and it just blew me away. My favorite songs by Green Day at the moment are Reject, Do Da Da, Homecoming, Too Much Too Soon, Fashion Victim, 86, and believe me, there are tons more. It's hard for me to pick a favorite album, but if I absolutely had to, I'd say Dookie, because it changed my life and introduced me to the greatest punk band in the world.  Other bands I like are The Living End, Good Charlotte, My Chemical Romance, The Ataris, AFI, Sum 41, New Found Glory, Autopilot Off, Jimmy Eat World, Bush, Smashing Pumpkins, Bowling for Soup, Rancid, The Ramones, the Offspring, Weezer, The Clash, Simple Plan, and there's some more. Some of my other favorite songs right now include Almost and 1982 by Bowling for Soup, Blizkreig Bop by The Ramones, Jump and Untitled by Simple Plan, and there's a lot more. I know I like a lot of bands that get slack all the time, but to tell you the truth, I don't really give a fuck what people think of the music I listen to.  I love going to concerts. I've been to quite a few.
