Warning
1. Warning
Posted by Renato Melo on March 03 2010
It's about a thing that everybody misses today: Question everything!
Why we gotta get this opression? If we say something, they tell us to shut up, and the people who do this are the ones who should be protecting us, like police and politicians.

2. Blood, Sex and Booze
Posted by Devin Biello on March 26 2010
It is the need for kinky sex and you don't care that she's making you bleed because it feels so good (in your way).

4. Fashion Victim
Posted by i wanna be the minority on August 04 2009
it's about how you can have all the material objects in the world but you might not really be all that happy. It also about how hard people try to fit in with the crowd.

5. Castaway
Posted by Thomas Francis on August 02 2009
This song was written by Billie Joe, and is based on him writing songs which he knew all his old Gilman Street friends would disown him for. It is about him feeling like the roots and foundations of the band have been torn up. He knew that to progress as a songwriter he had to do this, and so wrote the song about being a 'Castaway'. He knew the old crew would not support him. I think it is more about the band 'going at it alone' rather than him as an individual. I read someone even wrote on a wall 'Billie Joe must die' after this album came out...

6. Misery
Posted by Andrew on August 27 2009
Misery is a concept song, about a whole bunch of characters (Virginia, Mr. Whirly, Vinnie, and Gina) whose mistakes lead them to their misfortunes.

7. Deadbeat Holiday
Posted by Deadbeat charles on October 21 2009
I think its about ordinary people trying to get through tough times and do it with success. It also talks about when Billie Joes cat, Zero, died in the washing machine (and the cat's gone in the dryer).

8. Hold On
Posted by Moonbeam on May 28 2009
I think it's about depending on yourself when you've got nobody else. It's optimistic, it's saying being on your own is not the end of the world.

9. Jackass
Posted by Sara on June 06 2009
This song is about some person trying hard to fit in or just someone who everyone hates because they're so predictable and unlikable.

10. Waiting
Posted by PsychoSatarah on May 05 2010
I think this song is about finding your calling and knowing where you belong in the world. You know it's gonna be hard to get there but you know you gotta keep going for it.

11. Minority
Posted by TheSaintJimmy1998 on April 11 2010
It's the sequel to Warning : we've questioned everything, they've tried to oppress us, we'll fight them for what they've done. It's a song about rebellion and being a unique character that basically is you.

12. Macy's Day Parade
Posted by Jacob Lankford on January 16 2010
This album had alot of governmental and economical elements put into it. It really shows in this song. "Economy sized dreams of hope". I think it also has to do with media and advertisments and if something appeals to our own interests were bound to look more in depth to it.
