Late last night, Green Day was announced as the first headliner for the 2013 Pinkpop Festival in the Netherlands.

Green Day will headline the third and final night of the three day festival, Sunday, June 16th. Tickets for this date will go on sale on February 23, 2013, so you have a little bit of time to save up for this show.

The last time Green Day headlined the Pinkpop Festival was in 2010 while on the band's 21st Century Breakdown tour. You can watch a video of "Jesus of Suburbia from that performance by clicking here.
