"A Tribute to Dookie" recorded by Bay Area bands to help 924 Gilman is now available for purchase from Bandcamp.com.
In November 2015, over 100 artists walked through the doors of the legendary Fantasy Studios and spent over 22 days recording and mixing 14 songs at Fantasy Studios. Yes, the same place that Green Day recorded the original album.

UnderCover has asked 14 Bay Area Bands to put their own twist on the twisted. The genres have ranged from Arabic Rai to Gospel to Orchestral...with a ton of punk in between.
You can purchase a digital version of the album, a limited edition CD, or a CD + Shirt combo (the shirt is great).

The songs were performed Feb 19th at the Fox Theater in Oakland, CA - where Green Day was honored by the Oakland mayor (check out that video here).

Money from this project is helping fund 924 Gilman to keep the venue open for years to come. More information about the fundraising can be found at helpgilman.org. Green Day participated in the fundraising by giving some items that were sold via the Indiegogo campaign.
