Billie Joe recently posted a photo on Instagram after the death of Philando Castile. In the comments of that photo one of his followers posted "STOP WITH THE STUPID POLICS, I FOLLOWED YOU FOR YOUR MUSIC! OKAY BRO?", to which Billie replied
"I understand what you're saying...and I WANT this to be about creativity and music .. but this is the craziest time in our lives since 9/11 .. I'm trying to find some justice in this god forsaken era. I hope this helpful"
