Green Day's official website has been updated this evening to list new European and UK tour dates for early in 2017. Check out all the dates on our updated Tour section here on GDA.

Starting on January 10th, Green Day will open a 15-show European and UK tour in Turin, Italy, and make their way across the continent for a final show in London on February 8th, hitting Switzerland, Germany, Norway, Sweden, the Netherlands, and France along the way. The band will come back to Europe for the Hurricane and Southside Festivals in Germany on June 23rd and 24th respectively.

According to a few pieces of leaked information and rumors, it is believed that tickets will go on sale starting this Friday, September 9th. This has not yet been confirmed but I'm sure we'll know more very soon.

First Direct Arena (in Leeds) confirmed with a promo video the Green Day UK tour dates, plus announced that tickets go on sale this Friday at 9am. TicketMaster UK has confirmed that Idiot Nation fan club will be having a presale tomorrow 7th September.

Green Day has issue a press release to announce the dates, and confirm a 9:00am local time ticket sale on September 9th. Idiot Nation members will have access two days earlier on September 7th at 9:00am local time.

Are you planning on going to one (or more) of these shows? Head on over to the "On the Road" section our forum, Green Day Community, to chat with other fans who will be attending that same show(s) as you!

Many fans believe that the band is going to be announcing more tour dates in the very near future, as soon as this week. With that in mind, it is certainly possible that the size of this European tour could grow, or that the band could come back later in the year after tours elsewhere in the world. If they're not in your area this go around, hold tight and let's wait for additional dates to be announced.

You can also find all of these dates in our Tour section. As more dates get announced, we'll be sure to post about them and update that section.

Late last week, it was announced that Green Day will be playing in Toronto, Canada at the World Cup of Hockey celebration event. More information about that here.
