The Interrupters opened for Green Day for 38 shows on the Revolution Radio tour. They posted the following after their final show in South America.

[quote]This is going to take a while to fully process, but we're feeling on top of the world today!! We can hardly comprehend the experience we just had supporting Green Day on the South American leg of their Revolution Radio Tour. The 8 shows were easily some of the most fun we've ever had! To be given the opportunity to tour with one of our favorite bands, to travel the world, to play in front of so many people, to feel the love and appreciation back from audiences we were relatively unknown to, makes us incredibly grateful that we get to do what we do. Reflecting on the year we've had together brings tears to our eyes. It is such an honor to have played 36 shows in 18 countries as part of Green Day's Revolution Radio World Tour. Some counties we would never have been able to go to this early in our career. Some shows with crowds so big they took our breathe away and left us speechless! All demonstrating a very powerful connection through music, love and unity.

We are forever grateful to @billiejoearmstrong @mikedirnt & @trecool along with @jasonwhiteguitarish, @jeffmatika, @therealjasonfreeze and of course @mnnesotagirl, @bubukittyfk & @batmansmom <3 You have all been so kind, generous, and loving and we are honored to consider you not just friends, but FAMILY. Additionally, you have one of the most professional and hardest working crews we've ever had the pleasure of working beside, making it a very inspirational and great learning experience. THANK YOU from the bottom of our hearts. We love ALL of you!! <3

At the end of every night, Green Day sings "It's something unpredictable, but in the is right, I hope you had the Time of Your Life." and WE DID!! So one last time, THANK YOU! We are forever grateful
XOXO
