Well another year has gone by, and Mike Dirnt was once again nominated for "Sexiest Vegetarian of the Year" by some group. We aren't going to ask people to vote because Mike is not a vegetarian. Sexy? Yes. But he's a sexy meat eater.
Many of you have been asking where to get the song "Favorite Son". Well since the song was part of the Rock Against Bush compilation, you can't get the song individually, you have to get the entire CD unfortunatnly. We put up in a link in the merch section to get the album.
We mentioned sometime last year that Green Day's name would be on Brian Vickers car, #25. Thanks to one of our visitors we got some pictures in of the car. Their name is on the hood and side (click the picture on the left), and their picture is on the back. If you so desire to purchase a small version of the car, you can do that here.

Hey everyone, as I mentioned a few days ago I've been working on re-building the merchandise section. Well now it's up. For the most part all I did was re-organize stuff, but there's a lot of new stuff as well. For example, be sure to check out the music page for links to buy all of the albums through iTunes or Buy.com. On that page are also all the b-sides lots of you have been asking for; Shoplifter, Governator, I Fought The Law, and a few live versions of some songs.

There are some new kickass Green Day posters that came out recently, including one for Bullet in a Bible and a new tall door poster; Both of which I can't wait to get my hands on. I'm currently revamping the merch section, but click here to check out some of the other new posters.
GDA now has an affiliation with iTunes. Soon you'll start seeing direct links within GDA to download Green Day material from iTunes. The music video for American Idiot came in at #1 on Kerrang!'s top 100. Basket Case also came in on the countdown at number 20 and Wake Me Up came at 92.

So we added this section to fill you guys in on the enigma, as well as to share what we know about the band with everyone else. So...check it out.
There is a new Green Day deck for sale from CCS. It's going for $50 or $110 for a complete package.
Whateverittakes.com has some Green Day wrist bands for sale to raise money for the charity GreenPeace.org. They cost just over $5, or £2.99 and €4.52 in UK and EU currency.

Green Day won an the award for 'Best Group' at the Australian Video Music Awards just a few hours ago. The band was not at the ceremony. Also for those of you intrested, Billie Joe is in this weeks newest Kerrang! Magazine. There is a small section about him and his family at the April 1st Kids Choice Awards. We'll get a scan up soon.
Fuse is showing some repeat airings of the Green Day specials Influenc'd, Loaded, and Comp'd and Comedy Central will be re-airing the MadTV episode that Green Day was on a few years ago. Click here to check on air times for your area.

The lyrics section has been updated with some corrected lyrics for a few songs. The donate page has been updated with a few more people who have donated to GDA for this month. Our appreciation goes out to them as always. The download link for "Why Does it Rain on Me" (#5) has been fixed in the extra media section. Also, all fan tattoos that were submitted have been posted. If yours didn't make it up, there was probably an error with your submission, try re-sending it.

Green Day is (unfortunately) in the newest 'Pop Star' magazine. We've scanned the pages Green Day is on so you don't have to buy the god-awful magazine.
We have updated the video downloads with a video from 1994 where Tré plays All By Myself and Dominated Love Slave. Also, you'll notice that we've put up the current poll question on the rightside for more "convenient" voting, and we've also updated the poll archives page with a better layout. The fan tattoo's section has also been updated.

Green Day has been nominated for two MTV Asia Awards: Favorite Rock Act and Favorite Video for "Wake Me Up". The awards will be held May 6th in Bangkok, Thailand.
