MTV Germany did an interview with a bunch of random questions for the band. There's 5 short clips on the MTV.de Blog. There's some pretty funny answers, at one point they ask them if they were actor who'd they be, Tre answers "Daniel Radcliffe, then changes it to Megan Fox, "so i could masturbate in front of the mirror all day".

As mentioned before, the limited edition of 21st Century Breakdown started shipping a couple days ago. There's still some left, but they're going quickly (only 3,000 were made). You can purchase them from greendaymusic.com. Courtney got hers in yesterday and posted a bunch of pictures over on her Photobucket account.

The 7" Vinyl of Know Your Enemy is also out today which you can pickup at independent record stores. Record Store Day.

Reminder: "21 Guns" music video premieres tomorrow at 9pm PST on Myspace.com/GreenDay.

Bullet in a Bible will be getting it's Blu-Ray release this coming Monday, June 22nd. So for those of you wanting to see Green Day in all their hi-def glory, you should be able to pick up a copy in stores. Here's an article about the release on Billboard.com.

A limited pressing of a 7" vinyl for Know Your Enemy is being released. It comes with "Hearts Collide" as the b-side. The single is being made available in record stores as part of Record Store Day, which releases exclusive vinyls every month. Only 5000 pressings were made of the single, so support your local record store and go out and look for this.

Update 7pm: Unfortunately, GDA was hacked early this morning. We've spent most of the day trying to fix things that were messed up. You might come across some errors on some pages. We are working to correct these ASAP. The Picture Vault is still offline while we try to recover files for that section.

Rolling Stone has posted an interview with Billie Joe and director Michael Mayer about working on the American Idiot musical. You can read the article here.

For those of us who purchased the 21st Century Breakdown Special Edition with the vinyls, it is scheduled to ship today. In case you missed it, more info about that special edition here.

Tre was interviewed by Spinner.com about the 21 Guns video. What does he say we should expect? "Lot of explosions, good times and gunpowder [...] It goes really well with the art on the record and we're really stoked. [...] It's the perfect video for the song" The rest of the details have stayed underwraps. Only a few more days to wait.

The video will make it's UK premiere on NME.com on Monday June 22nd [source: gd.com]

Green Day added another show in Germany for October 14 in Dortmund. Tickets go on sale this Friday at TicketOnline.

Sorry about the downtime earlier. Had a little mix up with our servers. We're now sorting through the wallpaper entries and will get voting up as soon as we can. Since we got so many entries (over 100), unfortunately we're gonna have to pick some of our favorites to go up for vote. Not really a way we can expect people to look through 100 wallpapers to vote for one.

MySpace has posted up a preview of the new music video for "21 Guns". The video will make it's premiere on MySpace.com/GreenDay this Sunday at 9pm PST.

Marie_GD from GDC was kind enough to rip and upload the video in AVI format, which you can download at the site (Megaupload, Rapidshare, ect.) of your choice by clicking here.

Green Day has been nominated in 3 categories for the Teen Choice Awards 2009 -- Choice Rock Group, Rock Track for Know Your Enemy, and Best Group Album. Read the article here. The teen award show will be airing on Monday, August 10 (8-10 PM ET/PT) on FOX.

Green Day will be the guest this weekend on "Rove Live", an Australian show on Channel 10. It will air this Sunday, June 21st. Details can be read on the show website.

I spent a few days redoing the font page here on GDA, so please check it out. We have a 21st Century Breakdown font, which was made by Nele, of GDC. So thank you very much Nele! And now you guys can stop e-mailing us asking for the new font. :)

Holy shit. I just finished watching The Foxboro Hot Tubs on Last Call with Carson Daly. What a freakin great performance. These guys definitely need to play more TV.

For those of you who need to catch up, here's all the details about the Foxboro Hot Tubs. You can still download the album "Stop Drop and Roll!!!" from Amazon.com

Here's the video, which comes from The Audio Perv.

Watching this had me very excited thinking back to a year ago when I got the chance to see them in Phoenix. Watching Billie Joe (err, I mean The Rev) try to crowd surf, never making it past the front because everyone wanted to play touchy feely -- Pabst Blue Ribbon flying everywhere -- the awesome outfits, ridiculous glasses, people on stage (though in Phoenix towards the end of the show there were more people on stage than in the crowd, and everyone up there went to dance, hug and kiss the band). Great times, great performance tonight. For some reason it feels really good as a Green Day fan to see this side of the band. FHT feels like the care-free alter ego to the biggest rock band in the world. They can manage both and make it look easy at the same time. Hell, this is the kind of awesomeness they do with their spare time!

After a bit of dancing around the question by Harmonix (the company who makes Rock Band), and after Billie Joe mentioned that Green Day would be coming to Rock Band, MTV.com finally confirmed the news. 3 songs have been will be available for Rock Band players to download through Xbox Live and Playstation Network, "Know Your Enemy", "21 Guns", and "East Jesus Nowhere". Other titles are expected to be made available at a later date.

Billie Joe is quoted in the article saying, "We are excited to be working with MTV and Harmonix. They are leaders and visionaries in the world of music and video games, and 'Rock Band' is a really cool way for fans of all ages to experience our music."

The download pack will be available July 7.

Today we're starting our wallpaper contest. We're looking for 21st CB themed wallpapers, so items entered into the contest may be used for our Wallpaper section, which is currently in the process of being re-done. All the entries will go up for a vote, two winners will be chosen, and each given the option to receive either a 21st CB poster or a "Heart Like Hand Grenade" poster. Visit the contest page for all the details and form to submit your entries. You must enter by Tuesday night (June 16).

Green Day performed Murder City and 21st Century Breakdown on tonight's Last Call with Carson Daly. Videos can be found over at The Audio Perv.

MySpace posted up videos from Green Day performance for "The List" in New York. They have up "21st Century Breakdown", "Know Your Enemy", "East Jesus Nowhere", "¿Viva La Gloria? (Little Girl)", "The Static Age" and "21 Guns". For some reason they have two versions uploaded of some songs, same video, but one of them is giving me an error saying "This content isn't available in your country". If you get that, try finding the other version and watching that one instead. I loved the performance of "¿Viva La Gloria?".

Kerrang is holding it's annual Kerrang! Awards on August 3 in London. People can go now to vote (you need to register first) at awards.kerrang.com for Best Live Band, Best single, Best Album, Best International Band, Best Video.

Green Day performed "21 Guns" last night on Last Call with Carson Daly. Another performance can be expected tonight at 1:35am EST. Last nights video is available from The Audio Perv.

DJ Rossstar will be interviewing Prima Donna tonight at 7pm EST, which you can watch on Stickam. Lead singer of the band is Kevin Preston, who also toured with the Foxboro Hot Tubs last year as their second guitarist. Ross will be asking some questions about touring with FHT, and hopefully if they have anything else planned.

I just finished watching Green Day on Last Call with Carson Daly. The whole show was dedicated to Green Day. They opened up giving a nice summary of the bands career, along with interviews with Rob Cavallo and Butch Vig. The second segment was an interview with the band where they talked about the process for the new album, and whats changed in the 20 years the band has played. It was a pretty good show which they ended with a performance of "Know Your Enemy". Green Day will be the musical guest all week (just performance, no more interviews), so more music to come tomorrow.

You can watch the interview and performance over at The Audio Perv.

On Friday we're going to be starting a new wallpaper design contest here on GDA. We want some 21st Century Breakdown themed wallpapers, and will be asking for designs in two sizes(1920x1200 and 1280x1024). All the entries will be put up for a vote and a winner for each category will be picked. Each winner will get either a 21st Century Breakdown poster or a Heart Like a Hand Grenade poster. All the details on how to enter will be posted here on Friday.

Pinhead Gunpowder will be releasing a greatest hits CD titled "Kick Over The Traces" on June 23rd (my birthday, woo) through Recess Records. The album is available for pre-order now through Amazon.com.

Interpunk has the album listed for June 16th, listed at $11. They also list 23 songs for the track list. Thanks to Julia for the link.

Tonight's performance on Last Call with Carson Daly will air at 1:35am on NBC (not ABC as I stated in the earlier post).

KROQ posted Green Day's performance and interview with Kevin & Bean from last Friday's "Breakfast with Green Day". They play 6 songs, and talk with the band for 5-10 minutes after each song, and some fans get to ask some questions. It's a pretty damn good thing, so click here to listen to it all.

The audio isn't working for some people, here's a link to download the full audio on MegaUpload. More download links can be found here. Thanks to Marie_GD on the forum

Making the headlines yesterday from that Kevin and Bean show was when Billie Joe announced that they are working on a Green Day Rock Band which will come out later in the year. Here's an article from Kotaku and another from G4 about the news.

Many people have been noticing Green Day being used on ESPN and for the NCAA. While no official type of deal has been announced, they definitely have been used quite a bit on the sports channel, and here's an article from Deadspin after they recognized all the airplay as well.

Starting tonight Last Call with Carson Daly will begin airing the bands performance which was taped last week. The Foxboro Hot Tubs performance will be aired on Friday on the show. I'm pretty sure video will be available from ABC, and if possible, we'll post the videos here.

We have a new GDA Editorial up titled "Once in a Lullaby" written by Angeline (user 'justcause' on the forum). She writes about the meaning of 21st Century Breakdown, it's relevance to the story line and reality, and Angeline really has a way with words and the ability to describe Green Day and Billie Joe's writing better than most. We're excited to be able to help share it with all of you, so click here to read it.

The Orange County Register wrote up a review of Green Day's show at the Fonda Theater from last week in Los Angeles. They also have 18 photos up from the show which you can view here.

Just to follow up on our post a few days ago about Mike's new 45 RPM shoes, you can find his shoes on the Journey's site here (that's the Journey's exclusive) and the other design here. All the details can be found at MacBeth.com/dirnt

Around the release of 21st Century Breakdown there was a lot of artwork and other types of promotion displayed around the world. A lot of this artwork was posted on Flickr, some of which you can find in this thread on the forum. There was also a creative agency in London that projected the album name on St. Paul's Cathedral, details and photos can be found on the urban snack blog. A couple other photos were posted on GreenDay.com.

The LA Times reviewed Green Day's show this week at the Henry Fonda Theater.

LA Weekly wrote an article about Green Day's performance for Last Call with Carson Daly as well as the Fonda show. They have some really great pics from the shows.

We've updated the tour page with the new Australian dates, as well as some other edits. Every show now has a "discussion" link on the right side, that will link you to a specific thread on our forum dedicated for that show. A place for you guys to talk to other GDA'ers planning on attending that show.

Mike Dirnt's new signature series shoes from MacBeth footwear are now available, you can find some pictures of the design on macbeth.com/dirnt. The shoes are supposed to be available for purchase from Journey's, but I can't find them on their website.

Green Day is featured in the German magazine unclesally*s, this photo was featured in there. They are also on the cover, with different versions of the magazine released featuring each of the guys. You can read the article here. Thanks to Larissa for sending the info and pictures.

Green Day recorded their appearance today for Last Call with Carson Daly in Los Angeles. They did an interview, then played Know Your Enemy, Murder City, East Jesus Nowhere, 21 Guns, Christian's Inferno, 21st Century Breakdown, The Static Age. People attending the show were then told a second band would be performing, and after a wait they brought out all the Foxboro Hot Tubs equipment and the guys came out and performed Mother Mary and Stop Drop and Roll. The performance is expected to air all next week, starting Tuesday night. I'm really hoping they decide to show some of the Foxboro Stuff. We need some good quality video of them already. Some people from the forum were at the taping, and you can read a few of the updates on the forum.

I've added a lot of new recent magazines to the articles page page, including the new NME Magazine and Guitar World with Billie Joe on the covers. Thank you much to everyone on the forum for taking the time to scan and upload the articles. I'm still looking for scans of the recent Blunt magazine the guys were on.

The Picture Vault was updated today with pictures from the New York shows and the pictures from the LA Hot Topic Meet & Greet. There are a few pictures of fans there, so if you attended, check them out to see if you got your picture taken.

Green Day will be performing on The Tonight Show with Conan O'Brien tonight on NBC. The show usually starts at 10:35pm, but check your local listings. Tom Hanks is tonight's guest. The video should be available shortly after it airs

Later today Green Day will be doing a Meet and Greet at the Hollywood & Highland Center Hot Topic in Hollywood, CA. It should start around 7pm, if anyone can get some pictures, send us an email .

Billie Joe is on the cover of the newest NME Magazine, the article is titled "Inside the mind of Billie Joe". The magazine will be out tomorrow.

Here's an awesome video of Green Day playing around on the red carpet to the MTV Japan VMA's.

"Know Your Enemy" has been nominated for "International Video of the Year - Group" for the MuchMusic Video Awards, up against Coldplay, Jonas Brothers, Kings of Leon, Rise Against, The Black Eyed Peas, The Killers, Metro Station and the Pussycat Dolls. This is not a "peoples choice" award, so the winner isn't chosen by fans voting.

Green Day is on the cover of the newest issue of Australian Blunt Magazine. Thanks to Alex for the info. We'll post up some scans as soon as we get them.

This was supposed to be posted Sunday evening, I forgot my own weekly tradition already, even though it's only a week into it. Here's the big news from last week:

Tuesday May 26th: Absolute Radio posted the video interview with Green Day answering questions from our forum.

Thursday May 28th: Rolling Stone talks with Tre about their New York trip and the upcoming tour. Also, 80+ photos were posted by photogpher Bob Gruen of the guys during their trip to NY.

Friday May 29th: Green Day climbs to number 1 on the European charts during their second week.

Saturday May 30th: Green Day performed at the MTV Japan VMA's. You can watch the video on YouTube.

Green Day.com posted some photos from Green Day's show in Japan taken by Chris Dugan. Some really great shots, including the one of Tre on the right. Go to this page, scroll down to the photos, then click "Next Screen" till the album for Akasaka BLITZ, Japan comes up.

Green Day climbed up to #1 in Europe, despite expectations for Eminem to take the top spot, after the band debuted at #2 last week behind Depeche Mode, who is now at #3. I read an online article listing the albums position across different countries in Europe, but I can't find that link right now.

Need An Enema? "Know Your Enemy" parody. I loved it. Lyrics posted on the guys site, Peter Coffin.com.

Green Day is playing live on KROQ's Kevin and Bean show on June 5th, and they're giving 50 Idiot Club members the chance for tickets to the performance. Visit the Idiot Club for details.

Billie Joe is on the August 2009 cover of Guitar World magazine. The magazine is available for purchase now. We will have scans in the next day or two.

The photo was taken by photographer Ross Halfin, which we posted earlier in the month about his full photo shoot, many of those photos can be seen in the Billie Joe album in the picture vault.

Music Photographer Bob Gruen added over 80 photos from Green Day's trip to New York. Photos from them in the studio working with Jesse Malin (musician signed to Adeline Records), from the Bowery and Webster shows, their visit to The Colbert Report and the Good Morning America Concert. View them all on his website.
Tre talked with Rolling Stone magazine about playing SNL, the Bowery and Webster Hall shows in NYC, and about the upcoming tour. News via GreenDay.co.uk
If I was a concertgoer and I got to see Franz and then Green Day, I'd need a new pair of panties.
...
It's tough competition, but we always step it up. We're not worried, we'll play after anybody. We're Green Day, dude.

Kaiser Chiefs talk about Green Day's politeness at Contact Music.

Vitamin Records (who did the "Pickin' On Green Day" tribute) released their Vitamin String Quartet renditions of American Idiot. I've written up a review of the CD, along with a preview of one of the songs, read it here.

Absolute Radio did an interview with the band while the band was in the UK, and posted the video of the interview. They ask the band questions submitted by users on our forum, Green Day Community. Yay!

The band has made their way to Japan this week, and will be doing a show in Tokyo on Thursday, then performing on the MTV Japan Music Video Awards on Saturday. We'll post any updates (photos or videos) that we get in.

Tyke and I are working on a complete re-design of the song meanings, and we're opening it up to our visitors. If you'd like to submit a song meaning, please visit this page, select an album and song, and give us your input. Later in the week, we'll launch the new section and display some of your submissions. They will be moderated, but we'll try to post as many as we can as long as they're suitable, unique, readable and coherent.

Many more site projects are currently being worked on, more updates on those when they're closer to being launched.

Oh yeah, Billie Joe Keyboard Cat.

Hey everyone! I hope everyone had a nice Memorial Day weekend...well us US citizens who celebrate it anyway. As previously reported, 21 Guns was scheduled to be released as a single this week, that release was just for radio stations which starting playing the track on air this week. The actual single should be released in June. 21 Guns is scheduled to be on the tracklisting of the soundtrack to the upcoming movie Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen.

Vote for Green Day on Spike for "Ballsiest Band". They are up against Metallica, and I'm trying not to let my personal feelings about that band end up in my news post here.

Unforunatly, Eminem has knocked Green Day out of the top spot on Rolling Stone. He's outselling Green Day in Australia too. But, our guys are still #1 at Amazon.

Green Day's Good Morning America performance made the list of People's top 5 moments for Friday. You can view their video here.

Andres and Tyke are working on a special project for the song meanings section of GDA, visit the forum for details on how you can participate. Check back in a couple days for the launch of that. In the meantime, take a look at the recently uploaded pictures to the Picture Vault.

Hey everyone! To everyone who didn't get to catch the CBS interview with Green Day that aired this morning, you can watch it here. Thanks to Jen M. for taking the time to upload that. During the airing of the interview, they adverised Comcast's Green Day on Demand. Definitly check that out. You can view the videos from the Fox Theatre show, interviews, and even a trivia game! It's pretty easy though, I got all the questions right and I played it twice. :)

I've uploaded more pictures from the Good Morning America performance in the Picture Vault.

Green Day will be on CBS Sunday Morning tomorrow at 9am EST (times may vary, so check your listings). They will have an "extensive interview" with the band, which was filmed last month when they were in Oakland.

Here's a preview from the interview where Mike is talking about being sick during the their huge show at Giants Stadium during the American Idiot tour.

You can watch 5 videos from Green Day's performance yesterday on Good Morning America. Not all of them aired, but the guys played a few extra songs, 21CB, East Jesus Nowhere, Know Your Enemy, American Idiot, and a short interview. Man, how adorable is that little girl that comes up on stage during East Jesus Nowhere?

We've uploaded some photos from the GMA show sent in by Hunter C. who was near the front during the performance. You can also see some photos heres.

Green Day performed "East Jesus Nowhere" last night on the Late Show with David Letterman. A very great performance, and gotta love Tre at the end. You can watch the video on YouTube.

FMQB.com mentions that 21 Guns will be the next singe, and will be available May 25 or the 26th. No mention of any possible b-sides yet.

We're in the middle of moving over onto a more powerful server to better handle all the visitors we've been getting. If you're reading this update, everything has moved over successfully. You might run into a few errors here and there, but we're in the process of getting all of those fixed right now.

Also as mentioned above, these upgrades do cost us money, and we'd really appreciate any help from our visitors to help us cover these expenses, which in turn allows us to grow and provide more content. Please consider sending an online donation through PayPal (credit/debit card, completely safe). Thanks everyone! I promise once we get all this taken care of I'll stop bugging.

GreenDay.com posted the artwork to the right yesterday, but didn't say what it was for. We are assuming, since 21 Guns is slated to be the next single, that it is the artwork for the single cover. You can click on the image to the right to make it bigger.

Green Day was interviewed last night by Stephen Colbert. They talked about their decision not to edit their CDs for Walmart, and they even covered part of a song that Stephen sang! In addition to that, they also played Know Your Enemy. You can catch the videos of the interview and performance here on Colbert's website. Unfortunatly, I think this video is only viewable in the USA. When we get another video, we will post.

Green Day performed today in Central Park, New York City in front of a massive crowd for Good Morning America. Here are some videos.

 Know Your Enemy (thanks Greenday_Aussie)
 21st Century Breakdown (thanks Terrbear)
 Longview (thanks Terrbear)

These videos were posted on the forum. Thanks to everyone for posting!

Tonight, don't forget to watch the Late Show with David Letterman on CBS. Check your local listings for times.

We are aware that GDA is slow with response times. We are currently working to fix the problem.

Don't forget to tune into the Colbert Report tonight on Comedy Central at 11:30PM EST. Stephen Colbert will be interviewing Green Day.

Tomorrow morning, make sure to wake up nice and early to catch Green Day kicking off the Good Morning America Concert Series with a live concert in Central Park, New York City. From what I heard you can catch them at 8:30AM EST on ABC.

Last night, I ranted to my fiance about how Walmart refuses to sell 21st Century Breakdown and American Idiot. So I think it's funny that I wake up this morning to see that Green Day speaks out against Walmart. Seriously, they will sell Eminem's CDs but not Green Day's? Why even put parental advisory stickers on CDs anyway?

MTV has an article here about the wild night at the Webster Hall show on May 20th. They also have an article about how 21st Century Breakdown conquered Billboard in a short week. One more article at MTV explains how Green Day admire hip hop artists such as Eminem for example.

GDA visitor Shaun captured and uploaded some really great quality videos from Green Day's performances on Saturday Night Live:
- Know Your Enemy
- 21 Guns

Some songs from Green Day's performance in Berlin earlier this month have found their way onto YouTube. This is video from the MTV Germany special, which the show was filmed for. Great quality as well. You can view them on this user page.

Green Day is on the cover of the June 2009 issue of Big Cheese Magazine. If you pre-order the magazine now you can get a Green Day wristband and post card. Details Here.

Jordan from Green Day + NRDC was at last nights show at Webster Hall, he posted up a blog about it. And there's a few clips from last nights show posted on the forum

Green Day took the top spot on Billboard's Top 200, selling more than 215,000 albums in an abbreviated three-day sales week. You can check out that article here at Billboard.

Also at Billboard, there's an article here about the Bowery Ballroom and Webster Hall shows in New York City. The article includes the setlist from the Webster Hall show (which looks amazing!). Tonight Green Day is playing a "secret show" at PC Richard & Son Theater in New York City.

Pictures from last night's Myspace List show at the Webster Hall in New York City are uploaded here. There's only a handful of them so far. If you have any pictures that you would like posted in the GDA Picture Vault from any of the recent shows, please contact me.

MTV have a bunch of different clips and videos of Green Day as they host this Week's Rock the Deuce. Check it out here.

Green Day's show last night at The Bowery Ballroom in New York City looked like a blast! Tre even played Blue (Billie's favorite guitar, for all you new fans)! Check out the pictures from the event here.

MAGNET Magazine picks the five most overrated and underrated Green Day songs of all time, read that here. Do you agree? I don't with some of their choices. Also, you can an old 1993 story about how Billie Joe hates MTV and his reaction to their recent signing with Warner, here.

Ultimate Guitar says Green Day is Topping the Charts, here. Also, 21st Century Breakdown is now #1 in New Zealand.

A lot of people have been asking me for scans of the 52 page book of 21st Century Breakdown, and quite frankly, I don't have the time and patience to scan it all. Luckily though, Trevor was so very nice did the scanning for me, he uploaded the pictures here.

Tonight Green Day is playing Webster Hall in New York City. This is also the show for the Myspace List.

Photographer Bob Gruen took some photographs of Green Day in New York City. The one to the right is similar to the photo he took of The Clash in 1981. You can view the other 2 pictures in our Picture Vault.

21st Century Breakdown is doing great on the charts so far. The album is #1 (the deluxe version) and #2 on the iTunes. It's a little too early yet to see how the album is doing on Billboard, but Know Your Enemy is still #1 on Billboard's Hot Modern Rock Tracks. Across the ocean, in the UK, Green Day is #1 on the charts. View that at BBC.

Green Day did an interview today at Absolute Radio in the UK. Absolute Radio is celebrating "Green Day Week" from May 13 - 20.

Green Day are on the cover of the June 2009 issue of Rock Sound Magazine. The magazine is UK published. Thanks to GreenDay.com for the scans. The articles page has also been updated.

Today's Meet & Greet seemed like a blast, from all I've been hearing. Congratulations to everyone who got to meet our guys today. I've uploaded all the photos I have so far in the Picture Vault, click here to view them. They are amazing pictures.

MTV has a video of Green Day with Billie Joe talking about how great it is that we (their fans) are excited about the new album here. They also have a video of fans talking about Green Day, here.

Billie Joe called into the KROQ Kevin and Bean show today. You can listen to the interview here. They chat about vacations, topping American Idiot, writing the new album, the band and their bond, and more! Our favorite part is when Billie says, "We're like the Power Rangers," then the host asks him "Which one are you?" Billie responds, "Probably the chick". It's a great listen.

The Chicago Tribune has given 21st Century Breakdown a great review; 3.5 out of 4 stars. Read their review here. Thanks to Niki to that.

Today was a great day for Green Day fans, the day that most of us have been waiting 5 years for. I know I had a great day, I picked up 3 different versions of the album, plus I ordered the special vinyl edition (which hasn't arrived yet). So, which version of the album did you guys get?

Don't forget that Green Day will be on SNL tomorrow night. NBC posted up a funny clip of the guys doing their promo with Will Ferrell, and a short interview afterward where they talk about the new album and the upcoming musical. You can view that here. Tre sure does have some shifty eyes.

Those of you on the west coast have a chance to meet Green Day at the Hollywood & Highland Hot Topic in Los Angeles, CA on June 2nd. Starting today, if you purchase the new album and an exclusive t-shirt from the Hot Topic at Hollywood and Highland, you have the chance to get a wristband, which will get you into the meet and greet on June 2. Here's the poster.

Green Day's MySpace posted up a few videos from their performance at the Uptown in Oakland, CA last month. Here's a great performance of Before the Lobotomy.

Green Day is doing the Meet and Greet at the Best Buy in New York today. Visit this thread on the forum for some discussion. Hopefully more photos will show up.

Visit iTunes where you can order the Deluxe Version, which includes 2 extra b-sides ("A Quick One While He's Away" and "Another State of Mind") or Amazon.com where they're having a special release by making the entire album available for download at only $4.99.
