<>The concert started out with Jimmy Eat World which wasn't that exciting quite frankly but it wasn't as bad as we thought it would be considering the fact that they kept saying "Green Day!!!!" Then came the long intermission between the bands, but as soon as the YMCA came on, we started flippin out because we knew what was happening next. A pink bunny came on stage with a bottle of beer clumsily trying to do the YMCA with us. Then the bunny stumbled off stage and all of the lights dimmed. By this time we were seriously freakin out. Then after some psycotic screaming and cheering...GREEN DAY appeared on stage. They were beautiful. (Note to you people: If we start fighting over Tre and Billie Joe, it's just us.) They started with an amazing rendition of American Idiot. Then they played through Jesus of Suburbia, and actually the entire song. Then they did Holiday which was especially awesome because Billie Joe yelled "This song isn't Anti-American, it's Anti-Warrrrr!!!", then all of these pretty pink fireworks started shooting off. We were especially concerned for Tre's safty. Next they played Are We the Waiting? and St. Jimmy which was cool. But then they played Longview in which he got us to sing the most fun part of the song "When masturbation's lost its fun you're fucking lonely" which we reluctantly sang with our parents sitting right next to us. It was still awesome though. Billie Joe also called up some random kid to squirt the mosh pit with a huge squirt gun. Well from here on we don't really remember the exact order of all the songs but this is what they did. They played 2,000 Light Years Away which was so adorable. Then Tre came out and did All By Myself which nobody expected but it was hilarious. He was so cute. Then they did Hitchin a Ride where they made everyone yell "1,2,1,2,3,4". That was a lot of fun. They also did Brainstew and Jaded together and Billie Joe got a little crazy and started running around trying to breakdance. Then Billie Joe came out with a crown on and everyone else had a different type of hat on. They sang King for a Day which was really funny and right from that they did Shout. When Billie Joe got to the part when you say "a little bit softer now", he started getting lower which led into humping the floor. Then he just layed there for a long time like he was dead and started singing Stand By Me, and someone came over and put a cape on him. Then he got up and continued with Shout. Then they did Maria and She which they were both beautiful. Then they did Knowledge and called up people to play drums, bass, and guitar. The eight-year-old who played guitar got to keep it. He's sooo lucky. Then for their encore they did Boulevard of Broken Dreams, We Are the Champions, and Wake Me Up When Septamber Ends. For Wake Me Up When September Ends, they turned off all the lights and everyone held up their cell phones and lighters. It was so pretty. For the very last song, Tre and Mike went in, which was really depressing, and Billie Joe came out and did Good Riddance by himself, and I thought I was going to cry. It was the best concert I've ever been to. Oh yeah, through like the whole show, all of these awesome explosions went off and I think they yelled "Phoenix" about fifty times. That made me feel special knowing that I live there. We loved it so much and we want to go back.
