After Flogging Molly & Jimmy Eat world & Tre cool's run onstage during Jimmy Eat world's performance. Green Day came on after what seemed to be a long wait; a visit from the infamous drunk pink bunny who conducted the YMCA & listening to good songs from The Ramones and Cheap Trick & watching the "Billie Joe is so hot" text messages on the big screen.They ran onstage & of course opened with American Idiot. Then came Jesus of Suburbia. And maintained their energy through the long song. During Holiday Billie Joe called for lights out and the the ampitheatre went completely dark.Billie Joe returned with a flash light and shined it around the audience while reciting the pledge of allegience. After that he said "and this one is called st. Jimmy!"but played We are the Waiting followed by St.Jimmy.They also played older favorites like Longview & Hitchin' a Ride, where Billie Joe of course put on his cape & king hat & layed on the floor and sang Shout.Which everyone sang along to.Billie Joe brang his son onstage to shoot people with a watergun. He seemed very happy to have his son by his side. Tre also got to jump around and sing the hidden track on Dookie "All by Myself". Which I thought was really cool. He also sang his part during Homecoming. Billie Joe of course had the pleasure of sticking his hand down his pants & announcing that he wished some would "%&*^ him" They made a band with three lucky people from the audience. And Billie Joe kissed the guy who played guitar. They also played J.A.R & Maria,She,Brain Stew,and Basket Case. During Wake me up When Sept. ends Billie Joe got very serious and people waved around their lighters & cell phones.Billie Joe also entertained the audience by doing a little break dancing. He cracked up when he watched himself do sexy moves & stick his tongue out on the huge screen. Billie Joe announced the man he's stood beside seventeen years (Mike Dirnt),the man he showers naked with (Tre Cool), Jason White,and the whole gang, and then announced himself as George W. Bush & said but my friends call me asshole.Billie Joe also talked about how every show they play is the best time they ever had because they do exactly what they want to do everyday. he said not to let your bosses or your teachers or government to tell you what to do.& to doo what you want to do, do what you love to do, and live your life every day.Also Jason White started playing Bloulevard of broken dreams but then stopped and played Maria. And they never ended up playing bobd.Before they played Knowledge by Operation Ivy he asked for Tim Armstrong to come out and the crowd chanted "tim tim" but he never showed so they played knowledge without him.Billie Joe also held a long note and made the audience copy him, but we obiviously didn't have the skill.He also walked around with his guitar like a marine would do with a rifle & often pouted when the audience didn't scream loud enough. We also did the wave & pretty much whatever Billie Joe wanted us to do because everyone obeyed him,like he was a god.The show also had amazing fireworks and other light effects.GREEN DAY IS AMAZING IN CONCERT AND THE ENERGY IS CRAZY.The floor is definetly the best place to be.
