<>Last night's show was absolutely amazing! Green Day's performance was beyond awesome! I had absolutely no idea the expierience I was going to have. I made sure I got there as early as possible, that way I could get a good spot in the mosh. And ofcourse my spot was fantastic. Finally, about 30 minutes after the show was set to take place, the opening act, which was sopposed to be Jimmy Eat World, but wasn't, stepped out on stage. I'm not sure who they were. They were alright, but I was definitly not there to see them. They played for about 20-30 minutes. Then, they left the stage, and we waited another 30 minutes. Finally, the time came. The lights dimmed, and out ran the greatest punk band on the face of the earth. I was on the right side of the stage, where Mike always plays. He stood up and was about 5 feet away from me. I could not believe what I was seeing. I was unbelievably close. First, they ripped into American Idiot. Then blasted into Jesus of Suburbia. It was rediculous! Then Mike ran up to us, and I screamed as loud as I possibly could, "Mike, I love you!!!" And he winked at me. That was so awesome. They contiued on with "We are the Waiting", "St. Jimmy", and they even performed a few older songs like, Stand by Me, Shout, and We are the Champions. They also performed "2000 light years away", for all the old school green day fans. And Tre even sang his infamous "all by myself". I also got a very nice few of Billie's butt crack, since he always likes to flash it whenever he can. Ofcourse no one cared :D. They played for what seemed forever, then, the time came for the show to end. It ended with one of my all time favorites, "Good Riddance (time of your life)". It was very sad watching them step off the stage. But it will be an event that i will never forget. I took a few pictures with my camera and camera phone. I also got a little video footage. Its not the best, but I did the best that I could. My advice to anyone planning on going to any upcoming shows, get general admission tickets, trust me, it is worth it!
