  • Secret show. It was announced last minute for family, friends of the band and 20 select Idiot Club members - who made up the audience of 60 people
  • Green Day LIVE on Tour: "Green Day's BAY AREA MUSIC FAN APPRECIATION EVENT was held Thurs. Sept. 22, 2011 in the tiny backroom of 1-2-3-4 Go! Records store in Oakland, CA from 8pm to about 11:45pm. Entry for this show for the 20 Idiot Club members required a notarized form faxed before 5 pm PDT. It was a affidavit of eligibility for the contest as well as a liability and publicity release form. (hoops to jump through! oh boy!) The email from the band arrived around 6pm - 'Please show up promptly at 1234 Go Records at 420 40th St. #5 at 8pm. Please be prepared to drink a beer and have a good time. Also, by attending you will be consenting to being filmed so wear some snazzy duds. This is a private event so please keep the details secret! The record store only holds 60 people. Thank You Green Day' There was about 40 family & friends and roughly 30 others who just showed up who all got into the show too. Free entry, beer & water! Ho as HELL!"
