Notes:
  • The setlist is out of order
  • "I'm not sure what order they played the songs in but I remembered what they played. They played Welcome To Paradise, Longview, Hitchin' A Ride, Jaded, Knowledge, Basket Case, and When I Come Around. The show kicked ass. Green Day was the main event. The stage was packed the most when Green Day performed. Inbetween songs Billie Joe announced, 'Oh yeah, welcome to the Warped Tour 2000. This is our bassist Mike Dirnt and our drummer Tre Cool, and I'm an asshole.' Then they started playing again and the concert was great. After they played I was beat and I went home."
  • "It was so cool. Everyone went crazy! They played Welcome to Paridise, Hitchin' A Ride, Longview, Brain Stew, Jaded, Geek Stink Breath, Basket Case, Knowledge, and When I Come Around. Billie Joe got a guy out of the crowd to play guitar on Knowledge. Then he made him stage dive. Mike and Billie were running around the stage doing funky dances and making some wierd faces. Billie Joe had everyone singing and yelling hey hey hey, ect. The coolest part for me though was every time Tre would look in my direction I'd wave my hat and go crazy. After I had done this a couple of times he looked at me kinda laughed and stuck out is tounge. It was very rad."
  • "So there they were and there I was, a small distance away from each other. They started out with Welcome To Paradise, then Knowledge, Brain Stew, Jaded, and Longview (don't rememer in which order) but then everyone wanted to get closer. The crowd got so tense and my shoulders couldn't stand it, I had to get out. It really sucked I couldn't see them because of the sun's glare. In a way, it was worth it because right when they finished When I Come Around, Tré burned his drums and walked inside the trailer beside the stage, which I happened to be next to, Mike showed up there too. These are small (maybe meaningless) details I'm adding because I'm happy to say that they looked right at me and waved!"
  • "Right before Green Day took the stage, we all started chanting, 'Green Day! Green Day!' Then there they come, Tre running out all crazy, then Mike and then Billie. They started out with Welcome To Paradise, then Hitchin' A Ride, Geek Stink Breath, Longview, Brain Stew, Jaded, Knowledge, Basket Case, and When I Come Around. They all, throughout the show, made their crazy face expressions, Billie struck a one leg up in the air pose and Tre was just banging away on the drums. For Knowledge he asked whether anyone knew how to play guitar. He walked around, looked at the people that had their arms up, including me. He looked at somebody to my right for a while, so I thought my chance of playing up there with Green Day was over. Then, all of a sudden, he shifted his look on me. He asked me whether I knew how to play the guitar and I replied, 'Hell yeah!' Well, yeah, he chose me to go up there to play Knowledge on Blue. It was truly the time of my life."
