  • lint028: "I was there! 5 bucks for that show."
  • Miami Herald: "Green Day played to about 90 people at the Square in 1991 - and 400 in 1993."
  • Bill True: "Green Day playing my club on South Beach in 1993. They performed at Washington Square many times before they got way too big. I ended up on stage at the end of this show doing security of all things after the melee broke out. This was their last show at the Square."
  • coachjak12: "I'm getting so OLD. Can't believe it's been over 20 years already. I was the tour promoter at the time for the guys. This was during the East Coast 'Kerplunk!' tour. This was almost a year to the day before the world met "Dookie". We shot this video just for fun, it was the seventh show of the east coast part of the tour and the crowds were growing. By the end of my part of the tour, prior to the guys heading off overseas for a stint, they received word that Reprise wanted to meet with them. That meeting would change everything."
