Details
Location:
Cloyne Court Co-Op in Berkeley, CA
Date:
September 21, 1991
Other Acts:
Fifteen, Spitboy, Grimple
Notes:
  • Christopher Federico: "I saw Green Day in the basement of a co-op house with five other bands for $5 in 1991. They came from punk. Billie Joe was practically living on the streets then & you could smell him from across the room."
  • Anthony Lew: "Sept. 21, 1991. Benefit for the Slingshot anarchist newspaper. Surely one of the greatest Cloyne shows ever. Cops broke up the show, as was too common back in the day. People climbing out the windows of the dining room (where the bands were playing) to get away. Green Day didn't get to finish their set."
