Tattoo artist Kat Von D released a new book, "The Tattoo Chronicles" in October, and it includes some Tre Cool in it. Kat did Tre's "Horsehoes and Handgrenades" tattoo. In the book he says, "The tattoo is inspired by a Green Day song, 'Horseshoes and Hand Grenades.' I really love that song, and i got the tatooo before we recorded it. I'm glad the song made the album!"

Kat Von D has previously talked about tattooing up the guys when she talked about Billie Joe's photostrip on his arm, and doing Jason Freese's awesome tattoo in her last book.
