Green Day to host 'Fireworks Night' at Oakland Coliseum this August

The band will be on the field before the start of the game to throw out the first pitch. After the game will be a fireworks show set to the music of Green Day, spanning the band's entire catalog.
Tickets to the game can be purchased via the A's website. There is a ticket package available that includes a Field Level ticket and an exclusive Green Day + Oakland A's branded cap, with a portion of the proceeds going to the Oakland Children's Hospital.
To squash any speculation, there are no plans for the band to perform.
