Top 10 'Green' Musicians

[newsImage]042310_gdnrdc.jpg[/newsImage]MySpace posted a list of the top 10 musicians that are aware of Earth Day and who are doing their part in raising awareness about 'going green' and other safe environmental habits. Green Day came in at #2 on the list behind Tom Yorke.

Here is what they said about Green Day:

As you can see by this list, Green Day are no 'minority' when it comes to banding together to help save the environment. But instead of paying environmental causes mere lip service, they have paired up with the Natural Resources Defense Council (NRDC) to try to make a real impact on the way we live.

The pairing sees the band encouraging their fans to do everything from lobbying congress to create more 'green' jobs to letting President Obama know that you support clean energy.
