An audio interview with Green Day from 1989 has recently come to our attention. At the time of the interview, the band had just released their 1,000 Hours EP with John Kiffmeyer on drums.

The interview featured a lot of insight from John and Billie Joe regarding the recording of the band's debut EP and how the change from Sweet Children to Green Day came about.
