Somehow, it's already April and things are getting busy for Green Day. In between rehearsing for their Coachella set next week, the band had some surprises for us in store. Here's recent news you may have missed:

"American Idiot" Appears on Devil May Cry soundtrack

Ahead of its premiere on April 3rd, Netflix revealed the soundtrack for the new Devil May Cry series. The news was shared via social media with an image of a CD-R featuring the songs and artists appearing in season 1, including Evanescence, Limp Bizkit, Crazy Town, and Rage Against the Machine. Green Day were also included, but theirs was the only song crossed out. Of course, this caused wild speculation among fans, some guessing the song would be "One Eyed Bastard" with others hoping it was a new song. When the series finally premiered, fans learned that "American Idiot" is featured in episode 8. Why was the song redacted? Guess that's another Green Day mystery for the books.

Coverups announce show at Pappy & Harriet's in Pioneertown on April 17th

The Coverups took to Instagram to quietly announce a new show happening at Pappy & Harriest's in Pioneertown, California on April 17th. Green Day/Prima Donna axeman Kevin Preston will open the show with a DJ set. Surprisingly, tickets are still on sale for this one. Get them while you can here.

Billie Joe Armstrong appears on new Frankie and the Studs song "Venus"

Punk rock band Frankie & the Studs recently released their cover of Shocking Blue's 1969 song "Venus," featuring the one and only Billie Joe Armstrong. Billie appears on the backing vocals during the song's iconic hook. The song appears on the band's recently released album, Life's a Glitch. Pick up a copy here. Stream the song below.

'Dookie Demastered' nominated for Webby Award

Remember Green Day's odd "Dookie Demastered" project? The project, featuring all the Dookie songs "in ways they were never meant to be heard" has been nominated for this year's Webby Awards. They're up for best Advertising, Media & PR campaign alongside Bark Air: 100% Real Airline for Dogs, House of Dragon, Can't B Broken, and Packed Full of History. Cast your vote for the 29th annual Webby Awards here. Congrats to Green Day!

The ceremony was at 5:30 pm ET. I was unable to watch it. Does anyone have any info on it? I think they livestreamed it on Instagram, but I'm not for sure. When it says watch, it takes you to Webby's Instagram.

Got this email from the Webby Awards newsletter   Last night was the 29th Annual Webby Awards, hosted by Ilana Glazer! The night brought together the boldest and best minds on the Internet, under one roof. Their work is everything All Good about the Internet. We’ve rounded up special moments below—Ice-T saluting Snoop Dogg’s cultural and entrepreneurial legacy, the hilarious moment between Walton Goggins and Justin Theroux, an iconic 5-Word Speech from Amelia Dimoldenberg, Kenan Thompson and Marcello Hernández bringing their comedic chemistry onstage, Congresswoman Jasmine Crockett shared a poignant 5-Word Speech, and special recognitions for Dr. Fei-Fei Li’s lifetime of innovating artificial intelligence, and Norman Teague for showing us what an inclusive AI future might look like. Plus, a brilliant comedic performance from host Ilana Glazer, and behind-the-scenes moments from the Webby Red Carpet, hosted by Nimay Ndolo. Follow @thewebbyawards on Instagram, X, TikTok, YouTube and LinkedIn to see the night’s best moments. I am not seeing anything green day. Kinda odd, don't you all think? If anyone has any info, please post it here   Wait, I just saw this. This says that they won an award for Best Launch / Drop in Advertising and PR. I am very confused why everyone is so quiet about it.
