Christie Road is a real place north of Oakland and five minutes from Rodeo, CA, where Billie Joe Armstrong and Mike Dirnt grew up. It was a refuge from suburban boredom, where they hung out with friends, took girls, and smoked weed. If you've ever wondered what it's like out there or dreamed of experiencing the peace it brought your favourite band, I hope these photos take you there.
