Tre Cool will be a judge at the 2026 Guitar Center Drum-Off
Guitar Center has announced that Tre Cool will be a judge at the 2026 Drum-Off. It will take place at the Fonda Theater in Los Angeles on August 20th, 2026. As of now, you can still get tickets to the event for $50.
Other judges include Dave Elitch, Josh Freese, Brad Wilk, Pocket Queen, Alex González, Eric Moore II, Adrian Young, Daniel Jensen, El Estepario Siberiano, Jared Falk, Jay Weinberg, and Thomas Lang.
If you're wondering what the Drum-Off actually is, you're not alone... I had to Google it even though I'm a drummer. Anyway, it's a legendary competition that ran from 1988 to 2016, launching the careers of many famous drummers who went on to play for Prince, Alice Cooper, Katy Perry and more. It's finally returning this year. Tre Cool will have a say in who wins, and the champion will get $25,000, a brand endorsement, a video shoot, and a treasure trove of high-quality gear.
