Claudia M. meeting Tre Cool

I saw green day in krakow in January 2017, during the rev rad tour. I was doing my masters in Hamburg at the time and thought of spending an extra few days in krakow as a short holiday. My friend in Italy had met Tre in Italy maybe a week ago, ahead of the Florence show (I believe) and she was convinced I should also meet him. I activated notifications on everyone’s Instagram stories and a short video close to a Christmas tree I had just passed. I left my friends at a souvenir shop and started running in the direction of the Christmas tree I had passed, and when I arrived I was panting and I saw a group of gd fans waiting to take a picture with Tre. I just couldn’t believe he was there in front of me, and all my emotions came out all of a sudden and I was paralysed and I started crying. He turns around, looks at my St Pauli hat (famous anti-fascist football club from Hamburg) and says “I like your hat!” I say thanks and tears are literally flowing down my eyes, and Sarah comes to me and hugs me and tells me “don’t worry he’s just a normal person” to which I say he’s definitely not a normal person for me. Then I ask him to take a picture and he asked me to switch hats, to which I of course agree. Hence why he has my st Pauli hat in the pic :) I still have the had he had, which had blue hair in it :) I hope he still has mine too somewhere!
