  • Jonathan: "Supporting band The Crush was terrible, just one big loud noise and the members constantly talking to themselves, i.e., 'Why isn't anyone crowdsurfing?!' But, thankfully, all was not lost when the band we were all waiting to see arrived on stage to an almighty roar from the crowd. They played nearly all of their songs off International Superhits amazingly well. By the end of the concert the stage was completely smashed, drumset included, in true rock'n'roll style. The next time Green Day hit the UK, I'm booking my ticket in advance. Truly electrifying."
  • Lucy: "The warm-up band (The Crush) were shit. The drummer was very good, but the rest concentrated more on trying to be like Blink-182 and insulting the audience (who returned the favor). But when the Green Day bunny appeared, everyone went mad, they knew what was coming. Their opening song was Maria and it just got better from then on, they played Knowledge which amazed everyone especially me as it is one of the most played songs in my house! Good Riddance was the best song by far, with just about everyone getting out their lighters and swaying them side to side."
