With New Years just passing us a earlier this week, what better way to bring in the New Year then with a related #ThrowbackThursday.

In 2009 Green Day was selected to be one of the performers for Carson Daily's New Years Countdown on NBC. The band played a full set, but NBC only aired "Know Your Enemy," "Going To Pasalacqua," "Holiday," "Minority," "Welcome to Paradise," and "21 Guns" on the countdown.


Although the performance was aired on New Years, Green Day actually had prerecorded their portions on November 23rd at a free show in Los Angeles.
