Mike Dirnt and Tré Cool have been announced as culinary stage artists for BottleRock Napa Valley 2017. During the festival, which will take place on May 26-28, the duo will take to the Williams Sonoma Culinary Stage to assist a star chef with the preparation of a meal.

This will be the second year that Mike and Tré have participated in the festival, where in 2016 they helped 'Iron Chef' Masaharu Morimoto serve up a 200lb tuna. Their chef pairing and dish for this year have not yet been announced.

Despite their presence at the sold-out event, there is no indication that Green Day will be part of the musical lineup of the festival, which is known for fusing music, food, wine and beer.

More information about the weekend is available at www.bottlerocknapavalley.com, including biographies of Mike, Tré and the chefs they may be assisting.
