Notes:
  • "After four years of being a dedicated fan of Green Day, who happen to be the best band ever devised on this side of the universe, I bought a ticket to see them play live at Festival Hall, Melbourne! I got to Festival Hall early and went to the merchandise joint and bought a Nimrod long-sleeved T-shirt. The tension was pumping until the Mavis's came on stage. They went totally off and got the crowd pumping. The tension heightened when they left the stage. Then it happened! Billie Joe, Mike, and Tre ran on stage and started playing Welcome to Paradise. It was HUGE! The crowd went sick! The floorboards rumbled. The seats nearly collapsed. The kept playing the best of their tunes which kept the crowd pumpin. He kept the crowd entertained with his humour and made us poor bastards in the seats feel good when he spoke to us. They sprayed water and beer into the crowd. BJ got a guy up on stage to play guitar for Knowledge! I knew every word to all their songs. A message to all Australian Green Day fans: Get tickets early for Green Day's next gig down under. It is worth every cent and is the best gig you'll ever go to. Green Day kick ass!"
