I love everything about seeing Serena in the pit at a Green Day show  She could've had a vip spot or a private box, but she's in it with every one else! 

I am not a fan of Serena Williams (that sounds like I have something against her, but I just mean I never cared about tennis, so by extension I have never paid a lot of attention to her beyond thinking it's super awesome that she has won everything there is to be won in tennis), so I only found out yesterday she is a Green Day fan. Of course I fell into the rabbit hole of her history with Green Day and all the geeky things she posts about them or with their music, or commenting their posts, and going to so many of their shows, and yes definitely moshing in the pit when she could have been in a private box or even backstage, the whole thing is so wholesome, she feels like a fellow Idiot/GDCer now ?

I know back at the Palladium club show in 2016/17 Serena Williams was heavily criticised and some fans were very upset because her security threw fans off the barrier so she could stand there. I'm sure it's in the thread for that show. Happy to see that didn't happen again for the other fans at this show
