I'm really excited to welcome J'net (janewt from the forums) onto the GDA team. She'll be working with us to keep things around GDA up to date, and her first project is an article recap of all the news we have for the upcoming album. For those of you who haven't kept up with all the news or lost some details along the way, this will be a great place for you to catch up. The section is just about ready to go up and we'll post it here in the news when it's ready.

Back in August, Green Day + NRDC asked for their supporters to take pictures of themselves doing something to help the environment to enter their contest. On the 7th a winner was chosen. Diana from Chile won a bunch of nice Green Day and Adeline merch, along with an autographed photo from the band.

Speaking of Adeline, we gots lots of email from you guys asking what's going on with the Adeline Street website (it's been down for the better part of a month). We sent an email to them and they replied to let us know that they're working on it, and they'll send us an update ASAP.
