Patent Pending
Up and coming Long Island pop-punk band, Patent Pending, have given Billie Joe and Green Day a shout out in their new song "Classic You" which features vocals of Bowling For Soup frontman Jaret Reddick.

"Like when you left me there stranded at the Green Day show, you took off with a guy who looked like Billie Joe, and that night was so long, and now I walk this road alone."

You can purchase "Classic You" is off of the bands latest release, Brighter, which is now available worldwide on either Amazon or iTunes.

Patent Pending isn't new to including Green Day references in their songs, in "Walk in Closet" off of 2009's I'm Not Alone the band sings, "You can hide all you want, but it's plane to see, that there's a handgrenade where your heart should be."

Currently, the band is supporting Bowling For Soup on their farewell tour of the UK.
