¡UNO!
Album Information
Green Day's first album in the 2012 trilogy. Produced by Rob Cavallo, this album has a more classic, poppy Green Day sound.
"With the first album, you're getting in the mood to party. On ¡Dos! you're at the party. And the third album... you're cleaning up the mess." — Billie Joe (Rolling Stone, 2012)
"The first album has the spirit of Carpe Diem in it. The first line of Uno is 'gonna ride the world like a merry go round' – let's just, you know, seize the day and carpe diem." — Mike Dirnt (RTL2, September 2012)
"¡Uno! is feeling like your heart is on fire. On the second record, you start losing control. By ¡Tré! your heart will feel like a flamethrower. It gets really hot." — Billie Joe (Rolling Stone, 2012)
