[img=030612_sexytre.jpg]Of course we're all in a tizzy here excited that the band is recording the next album, naturally there's tons of places online writing about this - but it seems most places got hung up on a single sentence from one of the newest studio videos - Billie Joe saying "this is the first time we've really sang about fucking".

MTV has the headline "Green Day's Upcoming Album Is All About Sex."

That seems like quite a leap to make. I doubt the next album is "all about sex" as suggested, though I am curious to hear what Billie Joe was talking about in the video. Let's not forget this is the band that already has songs like "Dominated Love Slave" and "Blood Sex & Booze" - and of course the Foxboro Hot Tubs have "It's Fuck Time."

I guess we have to wait until we get lyrics or the actual songs before we really know. Maybe this is Green Day's attempt at writing an album more people will make babies to.
