Phil Everly talks about Foreverly before his passing

[pic=Phil Everly]010814_phileverly.jpg[/pic]Shortly before the recent passing of Phil Everly, the musician sat down with Paste Magazine for what is believed to be his final interview. In the interview, Phil talks quite a bit about Billie Joe + Norah's Foreverly.
Phil was tracked down after the release of Foreverly to hear his thoughts on the album, which are very positive.
[quote]Well, the two pieces that I have heard are just really, really sensational, really good. I heard “That Silver Haired Daddy of Mine” the other day, and they did it a little faster, and it’s really quite interesting. It’s one of my favorite songs, anyway, but it was always hard for me. And it’s a real hard song to sing—it just brings up that…that emotional feeling. But Billie Joe and Norah do a great job with it.[/quote]
Phil even shared his thoughts on the Green Day track "Wake Me Up When September Ends," stating that he wanted to record it himself as a "thank you."
