Last month we shared the news that tattoo artist and cosmetics personality Kat Von D was releasing an eyeliner inspired by 'longtime friend' Billie Joe Armstrong. However, at the time the specifics in regards to the product were very limited. Following an announcement early this week on Instagram, we can now provide some of the details regarding the product and it's release: ‘Basket Case’ is a limited edition, retractable, oversized eyeliner, which comes with a built in sharpener. The formula is long-wear, high-pigment and smudge-able, and, to top it all off, the new product is 100% vegan.
The limited edition 'Basket Case' anti-precision eyeliner officially launches January 5, in the US and Canada and will continue to roll out in Europe and Asia through February 18th. The eyeliner will be available at katvondbeauty.com and Sephora for $19 USD.
