Green Day played Malaysia for the first time

It was raining so heavily that everyone left the stadium twice as heavy. The support act were kicked off the bill at the last minute. There was a long silence in place of their set. Thunder was rumbling and lightning flashed the whole time. Despite fears that the show would be cancelled, it went ahead. It was Green Day's first show in Malaysia. Because of the rain, a fan couldn't get onstage to sing Know Your Enemy, so Billie Joe took the microphone down to the crowd.
Green Day played India for the first time

On March 9th, Green Day played in India for the first time ever.
"If someone had told that wide-eyed kid from 2005 that one day he'd stand here, not watching from behind a computer screen but singing along as Green Day tore up a Mumbai stage, he would've laughed in disbelief. But life, as it often does, had come full circle. Because on March 9th, 2025, in a sea of lights, voices, and memories, that kid’s dream finally came true. And in that moment, he truly had the time of his life." - Abir, India
