- Jeffrey Baldwin: "I LOVE PUNK SHIT. Last time I saw them was at The Che Cafe, UCSD college in 1992. Maybe 75 kids all frothing on a week night."
- Steve Moramarco: "Here's something for so-called TBT that my friend Erik sent me - a flyer for a show I played with Green Day. It actually was my band Bean that played (not Hill o' Beans as listed). Billie Joe asked us to open for them after playing with us in SLO. Gee, I wonder what happened to those guys..."
- Superbawestside1980: "All I remember about this show was it was so packed they had it outside in the courtyard. And, some crazy kid tried to jump (roof to roof) across the courtyard while Green Day played! He fell short, the band laughed, the crowd oh'd and aw'd, the kid got up and laughed. Amazing!"
- David Benz: "That was 1992, on a Sunday. I was there and I remember it was the first time I saw them with Tre. I had seen Green Day twice before and as a drummer always thought they'd be really good with a good/better drummer. They replaced John and the rest is history. Supposedly someone has this on video."
