phauxtographer: "Going through old photos recently. I found this old photo of Billie Joe of Green Day back when he was touring with Corrupted Morals. They were playing at a veterans hall in downtown Guadalupe AZ back in '89? Two years later he comes to Phoenix touring with Green Day. They start coming around every three months - crowds get bigger. Last time I saw them at The Silver Dollar where Bank One Ballpark is now. I was not surprised to see the line stretching down the block. I am not surprised when they sign to a major label. I am surprised they are not a one hit wonder and are still around and have accomplished so much. Now the young kids think these old farts are gods. I still listen to the stuff on Lookout! Records. When I took this shot it was from the hip - his shorts were going down. He lifted his guitar to pull them up."
