  • Joshua R. Beal: "I know this is early 1990s, but it's amazing to recall that Green Day played at SRHS during Battle of the Bands week in 1992. We were all grossed out when somebody from their entourage ran up and french-kissed Billie Joe. Little did we know that they would skyrocket to fame a short time after! I still kick myself for not recognizing million-plus record selling talent when it was right there in the raw! Who would have known?"
