I was so happy they played King for a Day Even though they did it without the funny costumes, it's always a highlight for me and a GD show doesn't feel complete without it (there, I said it!). Crowd was wild. I was maybe 4th or 5th row on Jason's side and there were so many crowdsurfers, I had barely time to watch the stage. Awesome show though, amazing energy. Also, one tiny detail, I loved when Billie sang in Longview "I sit around and watch the phone and no one's texting". He didn't do this in Berlin or I didn't notice.

What an AMAZING show!! I was in 2nd row on Mike's side and it was stunning! I even got a guitar pick from him!! ??? In JOS he changed two lines that I didn't understand (if anyone did please let me know), but after that he sang "from Ukraine to the Middle East" and at the end of the song he shouted: "Germany is my home!" ? In Longview he changed the line "but no one's calling" to "but no one's texting" and in Holiday he sang "The representetive of Texas has the floor". That's the first time that I recall that he didn't change it to the location he's at, but to a totally different one. I thought it was fitting, though.  It still feels totally surreal. It was the 3rd time I saw them live and they only keep getting better each time. I was also very happy to hear some of the hits I missed the last two times, like 21 Guns, Wake Me Up When September Ends and especially Jesus of Suburbia! When JOS came I freaked out even more and the girl in front of me turned around and laughed ? (not that she didn't freak out or I didn't freak out beforehand, but JOS was a whole different level ??).  I'm soo glad concerts and festivals are back and I'm even more glad Green Day are back! I realized some bands left out their sadder songs or focused more on the party, because they were so happy to be back and wanted to celebrate. The atmosphere at all of the shows of the festival was a different one than it was before corona and the lockdowns started. You could feel the excitement in every single person!? Now that it's over... GREEN DAY PLEASE COME TO GERMANY!!!! ? Awesome!! Do you have a closer pic of the guitar pick? Yours is orange and mine is black, so I wondered what yours looks like ?
