Notes:
  • Mankato Free Press: "After high school, [Josh] Gravelin moved to Minneapolis, where he was entrenched in the city’s punk scene. The members of Green Day and Libido Boyz were his buddies; they all partied and played together in Gravelin's Dinkytown basement."
  • Jason Knudson: "The past continues to tickle me as I vaguely recall my vantage point from atop an old refrigerator in Dean’s over-crowded basement on 6th Street back in ‘90 while sweat dripped from the ceiling as Green Day ripped through songs off 39/Smooth."
  • Adrienne Armstrong: "Billie Joe and I met on the very first Green Day tour when Al Sobrante was in the band. I was one of only ten people at a Green Day gig and me and Billie ended up hitting it off. ...I met Green Day for the first time at a house party in Dinkytown. A friend of mine invited me to a party on the Fourth of July. So I went with my boyfriend [Billy Bisson of Libido Boyz] at the time to check out the bands. I saw a couple songs, then we left to watch the fireworks."
