  • 99percenteks: "Or how about the time I went to see Bad Religion in New Orleans in 1993. I was supposed to take all these people and meet them at the Handlebar the night before. I got to the Handlebar and everyone that was supposed to go backed out. So I went to Subway and picked up a couple of footlongs and headed west, to New Orleans. I took my sweet time. I left probably around 3:45am and arrived in New Orleans about 11am. I was checking out all the different rest areas on the way. Tired as shit, I decided to go check out the Music Hall where Bad Religion was playing. They were playing with Green Day (before they were huge) and opening act Seaweed. So I find the place around 1pm. I sit outside watching the buses unload. I get curious and decide to check it out. The band invites me in to hang out. Their drummer at the time, Bobby Schayes, gave me his lunch. I got to hang out and talk with Jay Bentley, Greg Hetson (Circle Jerks fame), and Bobby for the rest of the night until the doors opened at 8pm. I hung out with all my buddies in Green Day as well. I briefly ran into Greg Graffin and Mr. Brett since they were gone the whole time doing radio interviews. I was talking to Greg about Beverly Hills and the coyote problem they had there."
