- Nancy Anderson: "They opened for the Green Day show that I brought the boys to at The Sting in New Britain, July 31, 1994. What a great show that was! Small venue, about 100 degrees inside, they were hosing people down in the pit it was so hot."
- schlitsz: "When I saw them, it was at a small (now sadly defunct) club in New Britain, CT called The Sting. Between the time we bought the tickets and the show was when they started to blow up at radio and MTV and all that. It was pretty funny, actually, because nobody at my school knew much about them when the tickets went on sale. But when the school year was coming to an end and the show was approaching, people were complaining that it was sold out. Me and my buddy that I went with loved that. All the trendy kids had to stay home."
