Over the past decade, Green Day has won a ton of awards in many countries. We will try to provide each and every award that they have won on this page, however, sometimes we tend to miss one. Dookie's Awards & Nominations

 September 1994: The video for "Longview" was nominated for 3 MTV Video Music Awards for Best Group Video, Best New Artist, and Best Alternative Video.
January 1995: Green Day were nominated for an American Music Award for Favorite Alternative Artist.
March 1995: Green Day won a Grammy Award for Best Alternative Music Performance (Dookie) and was nominated for Best New Artist, Best Hard Rock Performance ("Longview"), and Best Rock Vocal Performance by a Duo or Group ("Basket Case").
March 1995: The Bay Area Music Awards were given out March 11, 1995 at San Francisco's Warfield Theatre. Green Day won the award for Outstanding Album, Outstanding Bassist, Outstanding Drummer, and Outstanding Group.
September 1995: The video for "Basket Case" was nominated for 9 MTV Video Music Awards including Video of the Year, Best Group Video, Best Hard Rock Video, Best Alternative Video, Breakthrough Video, Best Direction, Best Editing, Best Cinematography, and Viewer's Choice.
