Hello you lovely people. I was away this past weekend so I didn't have time to update much, but I'm back and here's to catch you up on everything Green Day and a few site updates.

Green Day is being honored by the People For the American Way with the 'Spirit of Liberty Award'. The award is to be presented in Los Angeles on Tuesday, October 10th. From their site:
Aside from having one of the most successful albums in the history of popular music, Dookie, their latest multi-platinum album, American Idiot, has effectively raised social and political consciousness among audiences worldwide.

As Tyke posted a few days back, Green Day is going to the studio to record a song with U2 that will benefit musicians affected by Hurricane Katrina . There is a new poll question up regarding this news. Here are a few links for other sites talking about it: Mtv.com, Ultimate-Guitar.com, Billboard.com, Mp3.com, punknews.org

I've put up the video you guys voted for in the video player (under GDA's Pick), She from Chicago 1994. Visit the player page to vote for the next video.

There is an improved search page for you guys to use.
