Definitely. ? I wasn't queing for any of the shows. Same as the last tour before of the VIPs and it's definitely different. It's by no means similar standing next to someone who freaks out during 21 guns and next to someone who get's as excited as you when they play the deep cuts. Standing with someone you've been queing with all day at the barrier is sort of like "we made it". ??? My experiences with queing in Paris has been the worst. From people in the queue, the crowd and to security (all from handeling the queue/moving us to different places, letting us in, one guard physically held me back without any reason, I wasn't running or anything,  refusing to give information in English and one security guard wouldn't give me water until a French man next to me asked in French. It was very obvious what I was asking for).  Glad your experience was good. ?
The people next to me getting super excited with 21 Guns and being completely indifferent to Saviors was literally the case for me in Ams And I am sorry you have had such terrible experiences here! How common these stories are really makes me worry that my mostly positive experience in France last year were just a fluke and that next time it will be a disaster. The security guy not giving you water is some real asshole-ry. But I will only partially defend the ones not giving instructions in English - it might be that they really didn't speak English, even if maybe they could understand a bit. In France is not at all like in Germanic and Scandinavian countries, where it's pretty standard that most people speak English. Still though, if there were any locals in the queue, I would expect at least some of them would be able to help translate for the non-French folks ?

I had the same with the Insomniac tracks in Vienna. ? It really isn't the same.  Thank you. ? I'm glad you had a good experience. ? I have heard many who's had the same problems unfortunately. I have never experienced so many people not respecting people who have been queing as I have for shows in Paris. Not knowing proper English to explain something is fine but everything could have been solved better than it was. The guy who wouldn't give me water, that was solely because I don't speak French. There's no doubt in my mind. We had been queing in the heat all day and still. Total douchebag.  When I went to Brussels for the Rev Rad tour no one who was queing knew French and one girl tried to use some of her school French to talk to the guards. They just laughed at her and didn't bother to respond.  All combined with how people acted in the queue, inside the venue (some of the people I had been queing with went to the bar instead of dealing with other's who had standing tickets) and with security, I said to myself that I would never be queing for a show in France again. I did an exception for Bataclan because of the venue size. ? I had seats last year for Paris and even then several of the guards asked me why I don't speak French. So yeah, I have absolutely no desire to learn French. ?

I was also right next to the mosh pit in this one! (kind of in front and of the right of the edge of the mosh pit) - it somehow worked in my favor because every time the mosh pit got intense I was pushed further and further to the front I started the show about midway between the catwalk and the back of golden circle, and ended about 4th row on the right corner of the catwalk. The only stressful time was at the end of the show, Tre threw some drumsticks to my section of the crowd, and all I could do was try not to get trampled as people rushed to try to get it. I swear at some point my feet were not touching the ground and my body was at an angle with regards to the floor, being sandwiched between people trying to bend and pick the drumstick. And I didn't even see him when he threw them, so I didn't immediately understand what was going on and felt just blind panic for about 5 seconds.
Sounds like we were almost right next to each other at some point then! Sorry to hear you got squeezed. It's scary! But glad to hear you had a good time otherwise.

Hey! I'm 34, still queuing, jumping up and down and singing along to every song, and no intention to quit in the foreseeable future, and in the queues I've met people much older than I am, who are also traveling to see Green Day, also queuing all day to get a good spot, and also super hyped to see their favorite band. Your enjoyment of the band and of live music doesn't have an expiration date.

Excuse me ??  Green Day have been around for years so their fans' age is definitely all over the place. That's one of the things I love about them. We all got into them at a different age and for different albums. Getting older doesn't mean that you stop enjoying music and going to live shows. ?

It might help not to think too much about it! And besides, just think of how old the band members are, and they don’t give a shit and just keep going… You don’t have to act your age, as long as you are healthy. And please don’t ask how old I am!?
I completely forgot to respond to this. I knew saying about seniority at 34 would cause damage hahaha
Anyway my thoughts about the future are "who knows where I will be in 4 years, who knows if I will be able to afford a concert or I won't have the money even for rent or a mortgage" At the moment I still live with my parents because I have had a serious job for 1 year and mostly I am alone. The economic situation in italy if you are single is not the best.
If there was a concert next year and I would also be 35 years old maybe I would live it better.
Here maybe it's not the age itself, maybe it's the years between now and the next tour.
The problem is that even next year without a Green Day tour maybe I will have to think about a new car first instead of doing two concerts in a row.

My botox forehead felt it. ??? Life isn't always consistent. Maybe we can go to several shows one year and another year we won't be able to go to any shows for various different reasons. That's how it goes.
