[img=012512_1497259-larry-livermore.jpg]In this weeks issue of Kerrang! Magazine, Larry Livermore - co-founder of Lookout Records, talks about Lookout closing and about why he signed Green Day.

This issue of Kerrang! is available on newsstands and online now over on Kerrang.com and included with this issue is a free Green Day poster. We will try and get scans scans up from the article for everyone to read sometime next week.

Since the announcement of Lookout Records closing earlier in the month, Larry has been doing a few interviews about his history with the label, signing Green Day and other notable bands such as Operation Ivy, and when he left Lookout in 1997.

In the first interview Larry joins the Rocket Fuel Podcast for an hour to discuss Lookouts past and listen to some of the memorable music that was released on the label. The second is an interview that aired on KQED Radio yesterday where Larry is joined by now co-owner of Lookout Records, Chris Appelgren.

Another short interview with Larry talking about the matter can be read over on Billboard.biz.
