As I'm sure many of you know, Billie Joe's recording career started at age 5 with the limited release of Look for Love. This vinyl single, featuring one eponymous track and an interview on the B-side, was recorded, produced, and distributed by the Fiatarones, Billie Joe's hometown music teachers. They operated a small record label, Fiat Records. James Fiatarone and his wife co-wrote the song, and jumped at the chance to have tiny, curly-haired Billie Joe record vocals.

It isn't known precisely how many copies of Look for Love were originally made. However, it is believed that only around 50 copies of the record still exist today in the hands of Green Day collectors and original owners. The record was pressed in extremely small batches for friends, neighbors, and family. There were two editions, both containing the record, a sleeve, and sheet music for the song. Here's an image of both versions side by side. The yellowish copy on the left is extremely rare, with only a few known to exist.
