This week, it was announced that the Green Day co-produced documentary Turn It Around: The Story of East Bay Punk will be released on Blu Ray and DVD on June 22nd 2018. The film, which made its debut in theatres across North America last summer, is narrated by Iggy Pop and tells the story of the San Francisco Bay Area punk music scene of the 1970s, '80s and '90s. In addition to the full-length theatrical cut of the film, the Blu Ray+DVD combo pack will feature five deleted scenes 'and more'. You can read more about the release on the 1-2-3-4 Go! Records site.

A 90 minute soundtrack is set to be released alongside the documentary. Available on both vinyl and cassette, the compilation features 35 rare, unreleased or out-of-print tracks from bands including Green Day, Sweet Children, Rancid and Pinhead Gunpowder. The limited edition double LP will be pressed on yellow gold vinyl, while the 2x cassette version - which is limited to just 600 copies - features the first official repressing of Aaron Cometbus's Lest We Forget, featuring rare demos, rehearsal and live tapes, which was originally released on his BBT Tapes label in 1991.

The documentary and its soundtrack are available to preorder now from 1-2-3-4 Go! Records, either individually or in a variety of bundles. You can even get your hands on everything being released for less than $50! Proceeds from sales of the soundtrack will be donated to the Women's Daytime Drop-In Center, a non-profit program in Berkeley, CA providing services and support to homeless women and children.
